Aragon Mill: The Bluegrass Sessions by Si Kahn and the Looping Brothers was the most-played album on folk radio during September 2013, according to charts compiled by Richard Gillmann from radio playlists submitted to FOLKDJ-L, an electronic discussion group for DJs and others interested in all folk-based music on the radio. “Aragon Mill,” the album’s title track, was reportedly the month’s most-played song. Si Kahn, a renowned folksinger-songwriter, author, organizer, and community activist, previously topped the albums chart in July with Bristol Bay. The Looping Brothers are a German bluegrass band.

The September 2013 FOLKDJ-L charts are based on 12,898 airplays from 137 different DJs. The number of reported spins (airplays) is shown in parentheses, while label and release dates appear in brackets. They are posted with permission on AcousticMusicScene.com.
