The award recipients were recognized for merit and achievement during a February 21st awards show at the Cook Convention Center. Previously announced Lifetime Achievement Awards also were presented at that time to living bluegrass banjo legend Earl Scruggs and posthumously to Dave Van Ronk and Manny Greenhill.
