In October 2011, Light in the Sky, the new release by female Americana-roots trio Red Molly, topped the albums chart and also sported three of the top 10 songs. Pieta Brown's album Mercury continues to top the Roots Music Report folk radio chart this week, while albums by The Civil Wars, Abigail Washburn, Eliza Gilkyson , Madison Violet and Colin Hay retain the next five positions, respectively. Gillian Welch's The Harrow & the Harvest retakes the #1 position on the #1 position on the roots country chart,followed by albums by Catherine MacLellan, Robert Earl Keen, Kasey Chambers, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Joe Ely.
