The Top 100 Americana Albums of 2023
The Americana Music Association has released a listing of the top 100 albums of 2023 as reported to the Americana Radio Airplay Albums Chart (powered by CDX) during the period extending from January 1—December 12, 2023. Topping the chart is Weathervanes by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, which also had the #1 and #3 singles with “When We Were Close” and “Death Wish,” respectively. Charley Crockett had the #2 album (The Man From Waco) and #2 song (“Trinity River”).

2014 Americana Top 100 Albums Chart Revealed
The River & the Thread, a collection of original songs that connect and re-connect Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash to the American South where she was born and from which her family hails, was the most-played album on Americana radio during 2014. That’s the word from the Americana Music Association, whose year-end Top 10 and Top 100 Albums of the Year are based on the records reported to the Americana Airplay Chart during the period of December 2, 2013 through December 1, 2014.

Roots Music Report Folk and Roots Country Radio Charts, 05-31-13
Singer-songwriter Patty Griffin's American Kid and Steve Earle & The Dukes (& Duchesses)' The Low Highway, both New West releases, have continued to top the Roots Music Report Folk and Roots Country/Americana radio airplay charts for the past several weeks. Moving up several notches to the #2 position on each of the charts are Ruth Moody's These Wilder Things and Billy Bragg's Tooth & Nail, respectively.

Roots Music Report Folk and Roots Country Radio Charts, 03-01-13
Veteran Australian singer-songwriter Paul Kelly's Spring and Fall tops the Roots Music Report folk radio airplay chart for a second week, while renowned British guitarist and songwriter Richard Thompson's Electric moves into the #1 spot on the roots country chart.
