Finalists Named in 2017 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Songwriter Showcase
Ten singer-songwriters have been selected as finalists in the 2017 Folks Festival Songwriter Showcase, held in conjunction with the 27th Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons, Colorado, Aug. 18-20. The finalists will vie for cash and other prizes – including a 2018 festival main stage set and a Taylor guitar for the first-place winner.

Winners Named in 2017 Songwriter Serenade
Andrew Delaney has been named the first-place winner in the 2017 Songwriter Serenade competition. He was among 15 songwriters who were invited to showcase several of their original songs and compete for $7,000 in prize money at Moravia Performance Hall in Moravia, Texas, on Saturday, May 6.

2017 Songwriter Serenade Opens for Entries
Applications are being accepted through March 26 in the 2017 Songwriter Serenade Competition. From among all entries received, 15 songwriters will be invited to showcase their original songs and compete for prize money at Moravia Performance Hall in Moravia, Texas, on Saturday, May 6.

Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Finalists Named
Thirty-two songwriters have been named as finalists in the 2013 Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Competition for Emerging Songwriters. Chosen from among more than 700 submissions from throughout the U.S. and Canada, the finalists will perform the two songs they submitted during the New Folk Concerts slated for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, May 25 and 26, as part of the Kerrville Folk Festival.

2010 Kerrville Wine & Music Festival Set for Sept. 3-5
Wine and music aficionados will gather in the Texas Hill Country over Labor Day Weekend for the 2010 Kerrville Wine & Music Festival. The annual event, pairing Texas wine tastings with performances by two-dozen singer-songwriters, takes place Sept. 3-5 at the Quiet Valley Ranch, nine miles south of Kerrville on TX Hwy 16.
On Aug. 31, from 8-9 p.m. central time, www.radiofreetexas.org will broadcast a performance by Uncle Lucius live from the Tin Roof Steakhouse in Boerne, TX to promote the Wine & Music Festival.
