Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Set for July 24-26

The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival returns to the Goshen Fairgrounds in Goshen, Connecticut, July 24-26, 2026, preceded by a Pre-Fest Farm Market and Staff Open Mic on July 23. In addition to dozens of artists performing on several stages, a lively dance barn will feature contra & square dancing, Cajun and zydeco, swing, blues, family and community dancing, and, new this year, line dancing. Children’s music and activities, and a wide array of crafts, food and other vendors are also on the docket, while AcousticMusicScene.com hosts late-night open song circles under a big white canopy tent. Dec. 7 Concert in NYC Celebrates 50 Years of “Woody’s Children”

Some of Bob Sherman’s favorite folk artists -- including David Amram, Tom Chapin and Tom Paxton – will help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the longtime New York City broadcaster’s popular, award-winning radio show “Woody’s Children,” during a December 7 concert at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space.
