In September 2011, Pharis and Jason Romero's A Passing Glimpse, the British Columbia-based duo's debut collection of old-time music, topped the albums chart. Lucy Kaplansky's "Land of the Living," a post-9-11 New York song, received more reported folk radio airplay than any other song during the month.
