Massachusetts-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Geoff Bartley's Mercy for the Dispossessed was the top album of the month on folk radio, according to charts compiled by Richard Gillmann from radio playlists submitted to FOLKDJ-L, an electronic discussion group for DJs and others interested in all folk-based music on the radio. Two of the album's tracks -- "Long Way Down to Harlan" and "I've Endured" -- were reportedly among the the five most-played songs on folk radio during August 2012.
