Philadelphia Folk Festival Set for Aug. 18-21
Thousands of music lovers are expected to converge on Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township, near bucolic Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, Aug. 18-21, for the annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. Now in its 55th year, the event, produced and presented by the Philadelphia Folksong Society, is the longest continuously running musical festival of its kind in North America.

Roots Music Report Folk Radio Chart, 10-08-10
Red Horse, the eponymous debut album by the trio of Red House recording artists Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka and Lucy Kaplansky, returns to the top spot on the Roots Music Report Folk Radio Chart this week. Rounding out the top 10 are albums by Mumford & Sons, The John Hartford Stringband, Sahara Smith, Joe Pug, Mollie O'Brien & Rich Moore, Angel Band, Tim O'Brien, The YaYas, and Peter Cooper.

Roots Music Report Folk Radio Chart, 07-30-10
Albums by Tim O'Brien, Red Horse (the new trio comprised of Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka and Lucy Kaplansky), and Crooked Still remain in the top three spots on the Roots Music Report Folk Radio Chart this week.
