Nominees have been named for the 66th annual GRAMMY Awards to be presented by the Recording Academy on Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. Brandy Clark, Jason Isbell and Allison Russell lead the nominees in the American Roots Music Field with three nominations each.

Mid-January is Music Festival Time in Florida
Floridians and visitors to the Sunshine State can escape the winter doldrums and enjoy some fine music in mid-January. The South Florida Folk Festival and the 30A Songwriters Festival take place over the same weekend in different parts of the state. The former includes the finals of an annual singer-songwriter competition, while the latter features such big-name talents as Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris.

Nominees Named for 55th Annual Grammy Awards
Nominees in more than 75 categories have been named for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, to be broadcast live on CBS television stations from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. Mumford & Sons was among the top nominees with nods for Album of the Year, Best Americana Album and Best Rock Performance.

Old Settler’s Music Festival Set for April 15-18 in Driftwood, Texas
The roots and Americana-oriented Old Settler’s Music Festival returns to the Salt Lick BBQ Pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch in Driftwood, Texas, April 15-18. Now in its 23rd year, the festival is not as well-known outside the state as some others in the Austin area – and that’s part of its allure. Old Settler’s Music Festival also takes place during what’s usually the height of Texas Hill Country’s wildflower season.
