Showcase Application Deadline Nears for 2012 SERFA Conference
February 29 is the deadline for receipt of applications from performing artists seeking official showcase opportunities during the 2010 Southeast Regional Folk Alliance (SERFA) Conference, slated for May 17-20 at the Montreat Conference Center in Montreat, North Carolina, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Asheville. An extended weekend of contemporary and traditional folk music, networking, and educational sessions, the conference attracted more than 170 people last spring.

SERFA Conference Showcase Application Deadline is July 31
July 31 is the deadline for receipt of applications (electronically or via U.S. Mail) from artists seeking official showcase opportunities during the 2010 Southeast Regional Folk Alliance (SERFA) Conference, slated for Oct. 13-17 at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Early Registration Opens for International Folk Alliance Conference
The 22nd Annual International Folk Alliance Conference is slated for next February 17-22 in Memphis, Tennessee. However, financial savings are in the offing through early registration that is now open, while forms also are available on the Folk Alliance International’s website (www.folk.org) for performing artists to apply for showcase opportunities. The early registration rates and showcase entry discounts apply through September 1.
