Michael Kirkpatrick is 2014 Telluride Troubadour Winner
Fort Collins, Colorado-based folk-rock singer-songwriter Michael Kirkpatrick was selected as the winner of the 2014 Telluride Troubadour Competition and had the opportunity to perform a short set on the main stage during the 41st Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival that took place in Colorado, June 19-22.

2014 Songwriter Serenade Semifinalists Named
Fifteen performing songwriters from Texas and five other states will showcase their original songs and talents as they compete for $3,200 in prize money during the annual Songwriter Serenade competition on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Moravia Parish Hall in Moravia, TX.

More than 800 performing artists, presenters, promoters, agents and managers, folk DJs and others actively engaged in traditional and contemporary folk music will converge on the Hudson Valley Resort in Kerhonkson, NY, Nov. 7-10, 2013, for the 19th Annual Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) Conference. Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Finalists Named
Thirty-two songwriters have been named as finalists in the 2013 Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Competition for Emerging Songwriters. Chosen from among more than 700 submissions from throughout the U.S. and Canada, the finalists will perform the two songs they submitted during the New Folk Concerts slated for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, May 25 and 26, as part of the Kerrville Folk Festival.
